I'm Katelyn Doty, a Minnesota wedding and couples photographer who truly loves being behind the camera. With experience capturing all kinds of special moments around the midwest, my approach is rooted in capturing genuine emotion, real moments, and the meaningful interactions that make your day truly yours.

My love for photography started early; every family vacation, every birthday, every holiday, my mother and grandmother were always capturing special moments, documenting everything they could. Watching their eyes light up knowing they captured those moments is what originally sparked my appreciation for photography and how much photos truly mean to people.

I am often asked how I learned so much about photography, and to be honest, I am 100% self taught! It took lots of trial and error, lots of late nights re-editing photos, lots of kind friends and family who would let me practice posing and camera settings. What I've come to learn and love about photography is that there is always room for improvement, and always more to learn!

When I am not photographing weddings or couples, you can find me spending time with my family, enjoying the outdoors (probably in my gardens), or baking sweet treats with my kids.
